Step up emerged from a desire to continue moving forward despite the uncertainty of where the journey might lead. The curved staircase appears both inviting and precarious, suggesting the fragile balance between ambition and doubt.
The worn surfaces of the lower steps record the passage of effort, persistence, and experience. In contrast, the pristine uppermost step remains untouched, marking a goal that has not yet been reached. Existing somewhere between sculpture and metaphor, the work considers the act of striving itself, acknowledging that progress is rarely straightforward and that the path toward one's aspirations is often marked by risk, endurance, and faith
