Vessels
Wax, textile, mixed media
These small-scale sculptural forms explore the idea of memory as something carried rather than fixed. Resembling vessels, relics, or portable shrines, they function as intimate repositories for personal and collective histories.
Wax serves as both material and metaphor. Its capacity to record impressions while remaining vulnerable to change reflects the mutable nature of memory itself. Through processes of accumulation, wrapping, and containment, the works consider the human desire to preserve traces of experience while acknowledging their inevitable transformation.
